    In Frogner Park, you can see more than two hundred sculptures by Gustav Vigeland in bronze, granite and cast iron. He was also responsible for the architecture and design of the park, which has become one of the main attractions in Norway. More than a million people visit this place every year. The starting point of the park is the fountain, which was planned to be located near the Parliament building. But this plan was never implemented. The park is free to enter and is open all year round.

    The Fløibanen funicular in Bergen is one of the most famous landmarks in Norway. The lower station of the funicular is located in the center of Bergen, 150 meters from the Fisketorget fish market and the Bruggen pier.   • Troll staircase (Trollstigen)
    One of the most popular and most visited tourist destinations in Norway. It is located in the northern part of western Norway (Vestland). The troll staircase is part of the Norwegian national road RV63. In some places, the width of the road does not exceed 3.3 meters, so the passage of cars longer than 12.4 meters is prohibited.
    In the fall and winter, the Troll Staircase road is closed to traffic. Usually this section of the road opens in the second half of May and closes in October, but depending on weather conditions, these dates can be shifted. In the summer of 2005, the road was repaired, with about NOK 16 million spent on rockfall protection and motorist safety.

  • Stigfossen Waterfall
    Stigfossen is a powerful waterfall with a total height of 240 meters, of which 180 meters is almost a single drop. The Istra River is fed by melted snow and ice from the Mejadalen. Driving through the valley, you see a lot of water falling from the mountains. There are several small glaciers and mountain peaks 1500 meters high or higher. Much of this water ends up in two lakes called Bispesvatnet and Alnesvatnet, which are the main suppliers of a respectable amount of Stigfossen.
