‍Originally crafted in Denmark a cozy expedition vessel MV Quest welcomes up to 53 passengers, ensuring an intimate atmosphere. All 26 cabins have ocean views and private facilities. Our Triple Cabins offer both upper and lower berths, while other cabins feature either two lower berths or a comfortable double bed. For an elevated experience, our Superior Cabins provide spacious accommodations complete with armchairs and a TV. And for the utmost luxury, the Owner's Cabin boasts a double bed, two expansive picture windows, a separate seating area, and a TV.
Quest's clever, compact design unlocks extraordinary possibilities, allowing us to access destinations that remain off-limits to larger vessels. Here, we believe in more than just observing from a distance – we invite you to immerse yourself, up close and personal, in the wonders of the world.

Located in open sea, Andøy region is one of the most popular whale watching destinations in Norway. If optimal sea conditions, we will get a chance here to search, spot, and photograph these gentle giants in their natural habitat. If conditions are unfavorable, we also have the option of docking our ship and learn about the whales and Arctic wildlife at the local museum instead.

On the same day, we will continue sailing towards Sortland from where we go for a visit to the Sami Camp and learn about their culture, their long history of reindeer herding, and we will get to feed and engage with the reindeer.
See the exhibition of the sami costumes and photographs from a year of working with the reindeer. Sit by the fire in one of Lavvo’s and enjoy a taste of Sami food, based on local traditions and raw materials. Listen to a yoik, the story of the Sami people, our culture and history.

This small fjord with its dramatic landscape is spectacular to visit, but also has a dramatic history. The Trollfjord battle is central in the fishing history of Norway when small independent fishermen went "to war" against the first industrial-type vessels to fish in these waters. The story of the Trollfjord has fascinated and inspired a number of famous writers and painters.
Heading into Trollfjord by RIB will give us the chance to admire the majesty of the mountains surrounding this narrow and impressive fjord up-close and we may even spot some eagles!

Svolvær, the largest "city" in Lofoten with 4,800 inhabitants, offers a spectacular blend of mountains and sea, along with a surprisingly vibrant urban life for its size. Serving as the gateway to Lofoten, Svolvær is the focal point of the Vågan municipality, renowned for its art scene, anchored by the North Norwegian Art Centre. Despite its urban character, the fishing industry remains vital, with Vågan being a major Norwegian fish exporter. The town boasts traditional fisherman's huts, "rorbuer," alongside numerous restaurants, cafés, and bars offering both local and international cuisine, providing Lofoten with a touch of urbanity.

Narvik, nestled in northern Norway, is a captivating destination surrounded by stunning landscapes. Known for its strategic location and rich history, Narvik offers a blend of natural beauty and cultural significance. The city's fjords, mountains, and proximity to the Arctic Circle make it an ideal hub for outdoor enthusiasts. Explore its museums, witness the Northern Lights, and experience the unique charm of Narvik.

Chase the Aurora Borealis while travelling on Norway’s northernmost railway on board the Northern Lights Train. The Northern Lights Train will take you far up in the mountains, away from the bright city lights where you have a great chance of catching the Green Lady dancing in the sky.

Dog sledding is the perfect activity to discover this area!
The guide will introduce you to the friendly husky dogs and you will have some time to get to know them. You will go through a safety briefing and dog mushing lesson, before receiving your equipment and setting up the sled. Depending on the snow conditions, and if they allow it, you will drive your own sled. Each sled is driven in pairs with a team of 4-6 dogs, if the weather does not allow it, you will sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride while your experienced musher will take you along an unforgettable adventure!
